Overview
Three Lakes Foundation is a nonprofit that serves as a catalyst for uniting research, industries, and philanthropy in pulmonary fibrosis (PF) to improve time to diagnosis and accelerate new therapies. Our vision is to see a world where PF can be easily diagnosed and life-giving therapies are accessible, improving quality of life for both patients and families.
The nonprofit was created by a family tragically affected by idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a form of PF with an unknown cause. Driven by their own frustrations with misdiagnoses, lack of information, poor treatment options, and limited oxygen access, they have focused on changing the course of care for future patients, caregivers, and physicians.
Three Lakes Foundation is committed to:
● Encouraging the sharing of innovative ideas, infrastructure, and resources
● Engaging with patients, family members, and other advocacy communities to understand their needs
● Applying the advances in technology to merge and harmonize data and accelerate research and fund new therapies
● Collaborating with organizations that can influence policy change affecting access to care
Until our vision becomes a reality, Three Lakes Foundation will continue to fight for every breath.
