About Julia

Julia became part of the MassBio team in July 2023 as the Senior Event Manager. She coordinates premiere conferences and oversees sponsor relationships, where she gets the opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for our members.

Prior to joining MassBio, Julia was an Event & Communications coordinator at Boston College, where she managed a diverse array of events, ranging from multi-day conferences and guest lectures to formal dinners. Julia also has extensive experience in front office, food & beverage, and catering operations at several Boston area hotels.

Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with a minor in Spanish from UMass Amherst. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston College. Outside of work and school, Julia enjoys thrifting, art, yoga, and baking delicious desserts for her friends & family.
